Ayurveda Bhavan: Our Personal Journeys
Our Invitation to India
As many of our readers are well aware, Briana and I have immersed ourselves in the world of digital marketing. This has provided endless opportunities for us to collaborate with companies and brands that we believe in and whole heartily endorse. We are deeply grateful for our current sponsored stay and are excited to be working with the good people of Ayurveda Bhavan. They embody practices that we are both passionate about and are committed to living.
Most people have at least heard of the amazing benefits to practicing yoga but some of you may not be familiar with Ayurveda. It is a practice that has been used for thousands of years to cure diseases, as well as physical and mental issues. This practice can be traced back as far as 5000 BCE. Ayurveda is Sanskrit and translates to life knowledge, which best describes what this alternative medicine offers. Balance in life creates balance in health.
Ayurveda Bhavan has been serving clientele in Rishikesh since 2006. In that time, they have helped over six thousand customers from more than 30 different countries from around the globe. The center’s success is mostly in part to their custom tailored approach, which begins with a doctor’s consultation. A customized plan to target your specific needs is what sets this center apart from other such facilities.
When we first learned we would be visiting Ayurveda Bhavan, we brainstormed as to what would be the best way to cover such a large subject. The services offered are extensive and as I mentioned before, they are specific to each person. The journey into wellness is a very personal experience but it is one that we want to share. We decided the best way to proceed would be to journal our own respective experiences over the course of our 14-day stay.
One of the most exciting prospects for us is that our stay will include daily yoga sessions, in what is widely regarded as the yoga capitol of the world. There will also be an emphasis on healthy eating and body treatments. The body treatments and massages are used to treat stress reduction, weight loss, rejuvenation and many other ailments. Located at the foothills of the Himalayas, the facility’s setting offers tranquility and piece of mind. The proximity to the holy Ganges River and the Rajaji National Parkthat make it the perfect place to focus on re-centering yourself and taking control of your health.
Briana and I have our own writing styles and will be having very different experiences while we are guest. Providing our unique perspectives will help paint a more perfect picture of what it is like to stay at Ayurveda Bhavan. We are excited to begin strengthening our life balance through body treatments, nutritional Indian cuisine and yoga. As we dive deeper into this journey, we will be sharing all the amazing amenities that are offered at Ayurveda Bhavan and how they effected our overall stay. We hope to provide useful insights that will inspire our readers to visit this amazing retreat where mind, body and spirit become one.
